It Is Finished.

For 51 years I’ve celebrated Easter in some way shape or form, I’ve considered deeply the pain Christ went though for me, I’ve thought long and hard about why God sent his son, I’ve piled guilt on myself blaming Christ’s suffering on my failures, I’ve thought about how the disciples felt as he laid in that tomb silent, wondering if they had really understood if Jesus was the Christ, but I believe through all this we have missed something pivotal about what happened through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ… He won, and through his victory we win and have access to the spoils of his victory, he walked out of a tomb alive and breathing. Some of us need to get a good look at what the victory on the cross looks like and live and love radically in that celebration daily, the world needs followers who operate in victory worse than they need a theology…. hell has lost, they’re on the run. We can rest in Jesus’s victory today.

“Therefore David ran and stood over the Philistine, took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him, and cut off his head with it. And when the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled. Now the men of Israel and Judah arose and shouted, and pursued the Philistines as far as the entrance of the valley and to the gates of Ekron. And the wounded of the Philistines fell along the road to Shaaraim, even as far as Gath and Ekron. Then the children of Israel returned from chasing the Philistines, and they plundered their tents. And David took the head of the Philistine and brought it to Jerusalem, but he put his armor in his tent.”

Anxiety rules in a dead church

Anxiety

When anxiety comes to taunt you do not let it in, for if you do it will move in and before you know it you will allow it to dictate how you think and live your life, you will gear your whole life around it. Yahweh says…

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭NLT‬‬

““That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:25‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:27‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭NLT

““So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:34‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.”

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭12:25‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“And if worry can’t accomplish a little thing like that, what’s the use of worrying over bigger things?”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭12:26‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭41:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

““I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”

‭‭John‬ ‭14:27‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:4-9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I have struggled back and forth with anxiety and depression since my teens, I let it in, I let it set up a strong hold in my life early on and drinking didn’t help it, drugs didn’t help it… the problem was this… I was in compromise of my identity as a Christian, because of anxiety And feeling helpless to it I started to believe that Yahweh was ok with it in my life and that it was just something I had to deal with because God isn’t the God of the Bible anymore, a very popular theology in the modern church today that has been passed on by helpless pastors who themselves believe this theology. So we can make a decision, either worship the God (Yahweh) of the Bible and believe in who He says He is and who He says we are or continue with anxiety and depression dictating how you live your life. God loves you, he fights for you, he is dedicated to tearing down any strongholds in your life, ask him for revelation of who He really is and who you really are with Him… and I’m gonna be honest, there is no 10 step program to get free from anxiety there is only Yahweh and who He is, and the true revelation and reality of that is obtained through intimacy and worship. I know all the Bible verses and I know them well, I even proclaimed them in war against the devil over and over again and over again and over again and again and again, but the confidence of Yahweh in your life and where you stand with Him and who He says you are are irrefutable, sure anxiety and depression still knock on the door every once and a while but when I look at Yahweh in his fierce and terrible and loving power I’m reminded that I am on His side and I do not ever, ever have to let it in again because He is who He says He is and I am who He says I am.

Learn to rest today in that revelation.
This is my prayer for the modern church.

The illogical

How many likes, how many followers, how many reactions does it take to have (social media power)? Yahweh’s idea of being a voice of significance is way different from our understanding. A popular social presence is just that… relevant today, a moment of fame and then, it’s gone like the wind. In building kingdom culture we are establishing forever (heaven on earth) and we do not do these things through mans logic. Let me show you, let’s look at how Yahweh raised Daniel to a place of prominence and influence.

“But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs. And the chief of the eunuchs said to Daniel, “I fear my lord the king, who has appointed your food and drink. For why should he see your faces looking worse than the young men who are your age? Then you would endanger my head before the king.” So Daniel said to the steward whom the chief of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, “Please test your servants for ten days, and let them give us vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then let our appearance be examined before you, and the appearance of the young men who eat the portion of the king’s delicacies; and as you see fit, so deal with your servants.” So he consented with them in this matter, and tested them ten days. And at the end of ten days their features appeared better and fatter in flesh than all the young men who ate the portion of the king’s delicacies. Thus the steward took away their portion of delicacies and the wine that they were to drink, and gave them vegetables. As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.”
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭1:8-17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

In times past I’ve heard a lot of people place a lot of relevance in the fact that Daniel rejected the kings food, but more over Yahweh had spoke into his heart that if he would say yes to Yahweh and no to the way that (seemed) to always  be successful in the logic of men… Yahweh would take something (Daniel) that would never be considered relevant by the ways of this word and raise him into a person of power and influence. And that power knowledge and influence would be solely expressed from intimacy with God.

“For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.””
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭1:26-31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Sometimes There’s just nothing more to say other than-

This is for now.

““Keep silence before Me, O coastlands, And let the people renew their strength! Let them come near, then let them speak; Let us come near together for judgment. “Who raised up one from the east? Who in righteousness called him to His feet? Who gave the nations before him, And made him rule over kings? Who gave them as the dust to his sword, As driven stubble to his bow? Who pursued them, and passed safely By the way that he had not gone with his feet? Who has performed and done it, Calling the generations from the beginning? ‘I, the LORD, am the first; And with the last I am He.’ ” The coastlands saw it and feared, The ends of the earth were afraid; They drew near and came. Everyone helped his neighbor, And said to his brother, “Be of good courage!” So the craftsman encouraged the goldsmith; He who smooths with the hammer inspired him who strikes the anvil, Saying, “It is ready for the soldering”; Then he fastened it with pegs, That it might not totter. “But you, Israel, are My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, The descendants of Abraham My friend. You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, And called from its farthest regions, And said to you, ‘You are My servant, I have chosen you and have not cast you away: Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ “Behold, all those who were incensed against you Shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, And those who strive with you shall perish. You shall seek them and not find them— Those who contended with you. Those who war against you Shall be as nothing, As a nonexistent thing. For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’ “Fear not, you worm Jacob, You men of Israel! I will help you,” says the LORD And your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. “Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; You shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, And make the hills like chaff. You shall winnow them, the wind shall carry them away, And the whirlwind shall scatter them; You shall rejoice in the LORD, And glory in the Holy One of Israel. “The poor and needy seek water, but there is none, Their tongues fail for thirst. I, the LORD, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. I will open rivers in desolate heights, And fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, And the dry land springs of water. I will plant in the wilderness the cedar and the acacia tree, The myrtle and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the cypress tree and the pine And the box tree together, That they may see and know, And consider and understand together, That the hand of the LORD has done this, And the Holy One of Israel has created it.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭41:1-20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

20/21 and the Possible

God has done epic things in my life this year, that were deemed or seemed impossible, just because I stepped into His possible.

Christmas is almost here… but with that being said, 20/21 is upon us, this year started with an epic word from the Lord in my heart, and that was this- (that this would be the year of Yahweh’s perpetual revelation of his love in my life) not too long after that declaration my wife’s uncle, without any warning passes from this life… and then 2 weeks later my wife’s mom shockingly without warning passes from this life as well. Then I like everyone else since March has been affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. In late July I contracted covid and still have no clue where I got it, and I like most people thought it was a simple sinus infection, I never had a fever or really felt that horrible, and then my whole family got it, I reckon since I was one of the first and only people that I knew to get it and get it in my community sadly I was treated with much fear and contempt, Kinda feeling like Shrek waiting for the towns people to show up with their torches and pitchforks…but I live in an amazing community and I get it, the media has filled everyone full of their (what if’s) and fear mongering tactics.

We have seen riots and political unrest and people filled with fear allowing it to dictate how the live their lives now, a lot of people are still questioning the election results and everything else from wearing masks to dictating what everyone else should be doing to appease their fear.

Church gatherings have all but become mostly non existent (and I mean physical gatherings) along with concerts or any other live forms of entertainment where people gather together.

Last week I fell on the ice and broke my wrist…

And in spite of all this it’s been one of the greatest years of my life, Yahweh has continued to give the perpetual revelation of His love in my life, and in the lives of those around me and every day I have to continually choose to live in that revelation.

The Altar Fellowship launched in January of this year after spending months at Pastor Mattie’s house preparing for and looking for a building, everything came together and we had one of the greatest celebrations I’ve ever experienced in my life at the launch and since, this body of believers is and has continued to bless uphold and encourage me in my intimacy with Yahweh, and even through a lot of the obstacles that came this year in times of struggle God’s love and presence has never been more evident in my life, I have been physically blessed beyond my comprehension as well.

God asks for faith, and this is what pleases him.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Live in the evidence of things not seen, and hope when there is no evidence for hope. And above all stop, take a deep breath and pour your heart out in intimacy with Yahweh, He loves you so much today. I pray his continually steeped revelation of his love and presence over your lives this coming year of 20/21.

God bless and I love you all, Stacy

The End Of The World

The second coming of Christ.

I’ll never forget when I first gave my heart to Jesus when I was 10, it was an exciting time! I had Jesus in my heart I had been saved, so in my excitement I began to study the Bible like really read it for the first time in my life… my parents had bought me a NKJV Bible and as I had heard a whole lot about being saved and your typical Bible stories, Samson, David and Goliath etc. I hadn’t heard much else so in flipping through the Bible I saw Revelation, I was like ok it’s the end of the book let’s see what happens. So I began to read and about 7-8 chapters in I realized that yes this is the end… IT IS THE END OF EVERYTHING! I know and understand, the end of the world. So I was legitimately afraid. My mom had a desk in her bedroom that she used to sit at to put on her makeup (I was probably 12) I had crawled under that desk because I truly felt like the world was falling down around me and clutched my Bible, so what now? “I’ll call my dad!” My parents had been divorced for a couple of years at this point and I looked looked up to my dad because he was an former preacher who had went to Billy Graham’s Fruitland Bible college, I thought “he’ll make sense of this.” Thankfully the corded phone reached down to where I was sitting under the desk and I called my dad, who sadly brought no resolve to my revelation of the end of the world… so I read and I read Revelation trying to make sense of this trying to find a foothold in this being something good, I probably read it 8-10 times not really grasping it in my young new Christian mind, so I accepted that (this is scary and I don’t totally understand) and I’ve seen a lot of spiritual leaders use it as a scare tactics which didn’t help my situation. So here I am 38 years later and writing this blog, why? Because Yahweh has started to reveal to me that yes Revelation is the end, but only the end of Satan and his followers, it is our victory!

The kingdom is being established and the church is flourishing and is becoming mighty in the power of Jesus, more than the world has ever experienced since Christ was here and is accelerating into a place of dominion like we’ve never seen before as a family of believers. As this happens Babylon is going to try to rise against us as a church and will ultimately be decimated by fierce warrior Christ. Sure there will be persecution there will be push back but they will not be able to stand against the sons of God, Revelation is the final act of rebellion of evil against God and his sons and we will be triumphant, God wins, we win.

So some of you may be thinking where did you get all this? -from Yahweh, reading Revelation, Daniel and Ezekiel brought much insight to Revelation among just reading the Bible through the years. The perspective isn’t about the end of the world, it’s about our ultimate and final victory, in days of old God’s armies declared their victory before they even started fighting through music and worship, that is a posture that Gods people need to stay in, to live in and dwell in perpetual victory, why? Because Yahweh the ultimate creator and power of the universe has declared it!

People are afraid, more fearful now than ever, and rightly so… if your not sure where you stand with Yahweh your standing against Him and you have every right to be afraid because He is a fierce holy and scary God and you want to be on His side…this was said of Jesus being the cornerstone of our faith, “Everyone who falls in humility upon that stone will be broken. But if that stone falls on you, it will grind you to pieces!””

‭‭Luke‬ ‭20:18‬ ‭TPT‬‬

God loves you! He is so madly in love with you! Everyone has a seat at his table (through Jesus) no one is rejected or turned away you can come and sit in victory today.
